Assessing Companion Animal Attachment Among Future Latino Human Services Professionals

As the population of individuals from minoritized ethnic background continues to grow in United States, relationship between humans and their companion animals can provide valuable information for human services professionals. Attachment play a significant part clients’ emotional well-being, family dynamics, quality life. This study aimed examine associations attachment with educational training attitudes about animals. Analysis revealed that relational was among Latino students study, particpants’ positive beliefs significantly predicted level Participants also reported having diverse species demanded different responsibilities. Considerations enhance service delivery preparation future professionals have implications humane education improved client outcomes.
